It’s all going to be okay. Truly. Whatever happens during your family session is simply a reflection of the season you are in right now, and that season deserves to be remembered.

I am a mom too. A mom of three boys. There was a season where I had three under three, and it was loud, exhausting, and full of movement. I also know what it looks like when your kids (like my own) grow into teenagers. The energy changes, but the unpredictability does not. Whether your toddler is running off, your 8 year old is melting down, or your teen is giving you an eye roll before breaking into a laugh, none of it surprises me. I am not stressed. I am paying attention. Kids of all ages are allowed to be exactly who they are here.

I know what it feels like to take your family somewhere new and quietly hope everyone holds it together. I know the bribes that happened in the car. I know you spent far more time getting everyone else ready than yourself. I know you are watching your kids the entire time and wondering if we will get even one good photo. (Rest assured - we will!)

Take a breath. Let them be. This is where the good stuff lives.

My approach to family sessions is relaxed, patient, and rooted in real connection. I guide when needed, but I leave room for personality, movement, and the honest moments that show who your family actually is. Whether your kids are small and full of energy or older and on the brink of independence, these moments matter more than perfection ever could.

I ask you to trust me. Trust that I see the beauty in the chaos. Trust that I know how to work with it. My job is to make it work, no matter how your family shows up that day.
